Privacy Policy
FORGE stores your personal development data locally on your device. Your journal, your levels, your vision — it never leaves your phone unless you explicitly use the AI Coach feature. Subscription management is handled by Apple and RevenueCat. No account is required beyond your Apple ID for in-app purchase.
What FORGE stores
FORGE stores the following data locally on your device using AsyncStorage:
- Your Anti-Vision and Vision statements
- Your identity statement
- Your quadrant level assessments and answers
- Your daily lever entries and completion records
- Your journal entries
- Your weekly review responses
- Your task completion history
- Your app settings, including any API keys you choose to enter
None of this data is transmitted to any server. It exists only on your device.
The AI Coach feature
FORGE includes an optional AI Coach that generates a personalized growth report. This feature requires you to provide your own API key from Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI.
When you run an analysis, the following is sent directly from your device to the API provider using your own key:
- Your quadrant levels and assessment answers
- Your lever completion rates (last 30 days)
- Your 10 most recent journal entries (text only)
- Your 4 most recent weekly review responses
- Your vision and anti-vision statements
This data goes directly to the provider (Anthropic or OpenAI). It does not pass through any FORGE server. Your use of this feature is subject to the provider's own privacy policy.
Subscriptions and billing
FORGE offers a 7-day free trial followed by a $6.99/month subscription. Payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. FORGE does not handle or store any payment information directly.
Subscription management is powered by RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives the following limited data to verify your subscription status:
- An anonymous app user identifier (randomly generated, not linked to your name or email)
- Your purchase history for this app
- Your subscription entitlement status
RevenueCat does not receive your journal entries, assessments, or any personal development data. Their privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
To manage or cancel your subscription, go to App Store Settings on your device. You can also restore a previous subscription on a new device from the paywall screen.
What FORGE does not collect
- No user accounts or registration required
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No advertising identifiers
- No location data
- No camera or microphone access
- No personal data sold or shared with advertisers
Data deletion
All FORGE data is stored on your device. Delete it anytime via Settings → Clear All Data, or by uninstalling the app.
Children
FORGE is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will update the date above and be noted in the next app update.
