How does the 7-day free trial work?
When you tap "Start 7-Day Free Trial," your Apple ID is used to start a free trial subscription. You will not be charged for 7 days. After the trial ends, FORGE automatically renews at $6.99/month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → FORGE → Cancel Subscription. You can also manage subscriptions at appleid.apple.com. Canceling stops future charges; your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
On the paywall screen, tap "Restore purchase." Sign in with the Apple ID you used to originally subscribe. Your access will be restored at no additional charge.
How do I set up the AI Coach?
Go to Settings and enter your OpenAI or Anthropic API key. The AI Coach uses your own key — your data goes directly to the provider, not through any FORGE server. Get a key at platform.openai.com or console.anthropic.com.
Where is my data stored?
Everything is stored locally on your device. No accounts, no cloud sync, no servers. Your journal and assessments never leave your phone (except when you explicitly run an AI analysis).
How do I redo my assessment?
Go to Settings and tap "Redo Assessment." This will restart the onboarding flow. Your journal entries and lever history are preserved.
How do I delete all my data?
Settings → Clear All Data. This permanently removes everything stored by FORGE on your device. This cannot be undone.
The AI Coach isn't responding. What's wrong?
Check that your API key is entered correctly in Settings. Make sure you have available credits with your provider (OpenAI or Anthropic). If the key is valid and you still see errors, email us.
